- With abundant dainty, white flower clusters emerging in spring, foliage that takes on a range of hues across the year and delicious, blackcurrant-like berries, Amelanchier lamarckii is a tree that delivers in more ways than one.
- Also known as the juneberry, this tree is as easygoing as it is tough, which is to say pretty bloomin’ tough! With an RHS hardiness rating of H7, this striking tree will withstand even the worst British winters.
- The multi-stemmed, well-branched architecture ensures great visual interest even when the tree is bare throughout the winter months.
- Bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinating insects are attracted to this amelanchier’s nectar-rich blossoms.
- A recipient of the RHS’s Award of Garden Merit, the snowy mespilus tree has been shown to perform especially well in British gardens.
