Sargent’s Cherry Blossom Tree | Prunus sargentii

Sargent’s Cherry Blossom Tree | Prunus sargentii

• Sargent’s cherry is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a small but impressive flowering cherry tree that looks good in every season
• Large clusters of pink to deep pink single blossoms in spring
• Foliage emerges red-tinged, matures to dark green and produces a stunning autumn display of fiery orange, bronze and red tones in the autumn
• A stunning focal point for any garden, growing to 5 x 4m but can be pruned to fit any size of garden
• One of the few cherry varieties to be chalk tolerant, this is a compact and low maintenance tree
• RHS Award of Garden Merit winner
• Our trees are professionally pruned before dispatching. This formative pruning can involve cutting the main leader, if the expert tree growers decide this will produce a better shaped tree. This can stop the tree becoming “leggy”, and promote stronger, bushier growth.MORE
