Raw Nutrients – Omina
RAW Amino Acids (ominA) – 100% Water Soluble Amino Acids
RAW ominA is a powerful, plant-derived amino acid booster delivering 14% vegan Nitrogen from plant protein hydrolysate. Completely water soluble and pure, it won’t clog pumps or lines. Use throughout growth and bloom phases to improve calcium uptake, speed up growth, and reinforce plant structure. Works perfectly alongside any nutrient and feeding program.
Key Benefits of RAW ominA
- 100% water-soluble powdered amino acids
- Clean, simple technology with no fillers, stabilizers, or added water
- Allows maximum control for custom feeding programs
- Cost-effective for serious growers
Why Amino Acids Matter
In nature, beneficial microbes break down organic matter through enzymatic hydrolysis, producing L-amino acids — the biologically active form easily absorbed by plant roots. Synthetic amino acids don’t cut it. RAW ominA provides true L-amino acids, replicating the conditions of the richest organic soils, giving your plants a serious advantage.
Amino Acids Boost Calcium Uptake
Amino acids like glutamic acid and glycine act as natural chelators, grabbing calcium ions and keeping them available to your plants instead of binding into useless lime scale. They also stimulate root ion channels, massively increasing calcium absorption rates — strengthening cell walls and promoting vigorous, explosive growth.
Building Stronger Plants
Calcium is crucial for strong cell walls, but it’s immobile within the plant — it needs constant replenishment through the roots. A steady flow of calcium, aided by amino acids, accelerates cell division and builds more resilient, high-quality crops.
Protection Against Temperature Stress
Stronger cell walls mean better protection against heat and cold. Plants rich in calcium pectate can survive frosts and harsh conditions that would crush weaker plants. This resilience could mean huge energy savings for growers in cooler months.
Better Water and Nutrient Uptake
A fortified vascular system doesn’t just move calcium — it boosts water and nutrient absorption too. This raises the plant’s brix level (sugar content), a true indicator of plant health, strength, and final quality.
High Brix = Healthier, Tastier Crops
Higher brix levels don’t just mean sweeter fruit — they mean tougher plants that pests avoid. Each 1% rise in brix lowers a plant’s freezing point by half a degree, and premium crops with higher brix can fetch higher market prices. Win-win.
Directions for Use
Add 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per gallon to your reservoir. Apply as needed to keep your plants thriving.
