IWS AutoDrain Stand
Autodrain is a system of trays which connect to create a “sewer system” of pipework to collect and drain your runoff, to either waste, or you can recirculate back into your tank.
By not leaving your plants sat in nutrients, it forces your roots to search for water. This in turn rapidly increases your root zone. In addition, the nutrient can be checked for EC and pH to fine-tune your feeding. The flexibility of this modular system means the Control Unit can gather run-off from as many plants as required, which can then run to waste. This method also provides the opportunity to monitor the pH and EC of your run-off and ensure plants are receiving the optimum amount of nutrients.
You can also buy these stands as a complete kit with the standard (small) or Large trays. For an alternative all in one system (same thing but a different brand with all the trimmings), check out the Medusa Complete Drip and Drain kit or the FloraFlex Platform kits.
