Hydrangea paniculata ‘Candlelight’
- With its upright stems emerging from dense, bushy foliage, and glorious flower cones that go on something of a chromatic journey as they mature, this hydrangea is the very definition of a standout shrub.
- Emerging towards the end of summer in creamy hues, the blooms mature to darkening shades of pink, ensuring fabulous visual interest late in the season.
- One seriously tough cookie, ‘Candlelight’ will be able to withstand British winters without a fuss. Easy to grow and tolerant of a wide range of conditions, this hydrangea (as well as most others) is especially well-suited to coastal gardens, thanks to its good salt tolerance.
- Alongside its contribution to your garden’s overall aesthetic appeal, this cultivar also makes excellent cut flowers for bouquets and arrangements.
- Plant ‘Candlelight’ as a flowering hedge, a feature plant in a dedicated flowerbed or as part of a woodland shrub garden.
