Dahlia ‘Melody White’
- A fabulously elegant variety suitable for a range of planting schemes, including higgledy-piggledy cottage gardens, space-limited balcony and container gardens, and of course, dedicated dahlia beds
- Decorative creamy blooms grow on proud stems and contrast beautifully with the dark, olive green foliage
- If you’re looking to improve your garden’s summer impact, then look no further – ‘Melody White’ can be reliably called upon to bloom throughout the summer months and even into early autumn
- Are there any better flowers for cutting than dahlias? We’re not certain but we reckon it’s a close-run thing, that’s for sure! Brighten your kitchen or living room with a freshly cut bouquet of dahlia blooms and feel the smile spread across your face
- If you notice your dahlia becoming top-heavy under the weight of its flowers, then staking it to a support can be helpful
- Live in an area prone to harsh winters? Prune, lift and store your dahlia tubers somewhere dry and frost-free (like your shed), then replant them in spring
